I am a mid-twenties English (Lit) BA graduate, currently living in Baltimore, MD (USA).

Words are my passion, but I've been stuck in a convenience store job for over two years now. To relieve the stress I'd like to write. Won't you write with me?

I admit I haven't roleplayed in about eight years. In that time, I've gone through college. I wanted to be an English teacher, but that is neither here nor there.

What I'm getting at is simple - RP with me and help me relearn!

Rules:
-  For romance or mature activity, I only do m/m. I'm sorry.
-  I enjoy NSFW RPs, but we need to discuss squicks and preferences beforehand. I am decently flexible, but certain things are no-goes. I'm sure you're the same.
-  I like action and adventure, so ho-hum hookup setups won't interest me. Slice-of-life can be fun if done well, but don't be offended if I tell you I am not feeling it.
-  Understand that a character who doesn't like yours doesn't mean /I/ dislike /you/. Conflict is good, it drives the story. Fight, rage on, argue! Almost kill each other if you must! Life's no fun if it's all fluff.
-  Be honest. If you don't like something, say so. We can redirect. Don't try to RP through something awful. Pretend we're exploring each other - is it good? Bad? I love to get to know my RP friends OOC too.

Expectations:
-   Please at least give me a paragraph to work with. Even if it's describing how your character can't respond or won't respond, it builds something for me to reply to. Body language, setting, thoughts - something is happening somewhere. Let me know. I'll try to match your pace, so if you write walls of descriptive text, I'll try to respond in kind. I know how frustrating a one-liner can be when you've given so much.
-   Please spell as well as you can. Typos are to be expected, but consistent spelling errors break immersion.
-  Please don't expect to leap straight into Mature Content territory, unless the characters have a previous known relationship. Especially when RPing OCs or characters who don't know each other very well, the development is important!

Guidelines:
-  I prefer RPing over e-mail. If you have another forum where mature content is allowed, let me know, but I do not RP (SFW or otherwise) through notes.
-  RPs through messenger could prove difficult as I have a variable work schedule and am rarely able to get on.
-  Don't be surprised or upset if it takes me time to reply; I may be at work or dealing with my family. I'll extend you the same courtesy.
-  I can do either role in mature situations, but some of my characters may be resistant to some roles. For fandoms, I will try to match the character's personality, and for my OCs, most [but not all] are able to be switch.
